John Hablitschek

For more than half a century, John Hablitschek has followed a creative path shaped by curiosity, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for natural materials. He began making art and jewelry in the 60s, developing a style defined by flowing lines, organic forms, and a willingness to experiment. In the 80s, he pioneered his own approach to electroforming in silver and gold — a process that allowed metal to build naturally around each form, creating soft, sculptural contours that became a signature of his work.

When the materials required for electroforming disappeared in 2020, that chapter of John’s artistry came to an end. Every electroformed piece available today comes from a finite collection. Stock is limited, and once these pieces are gone, they cannot be recreated.

John continues to create through painting and sculpture, carrying the same artistic language into new mediums. He has also crafted a small series of gemstone tables — functional artworks — which will be added to this site soon.
