This necklace has a pretty cool backstory. John picked up this black coral decades ago from a shell dealer somewhere out in the Pacific — probably Fiji — long before it became hard to find. What makes it even more special is that real black coral has to age and naturally petrify over many years before it can be used in jewelry. If it hasn’t gone through that process, it just falls apart.
